About
The lies we tell others, the lies we tell ourselves — and the cost of living inside them.
The Liar explores how self-deception limits who we become, damages the people we love, and quietly shapes entire lives until the truth is finally faced.
The premise
At its core, The Liar is built on one simple belief: the fundamental human flaw is not weakness. It is our extraordinary capacity to lie convincingly — especially to ourselves. Everything else grows from there.
Human beings possess an extraordinary ability to deceive themselves. Sometimes those lies protect us. Sometimes they help us survive. But survival strategies eventually become identities.
Most of us never notice the transition. We simply begin living inside stories we forgot we created.
The Liar exists to challenge those stories. Not with easy answers. Not with self-help clichés. Not with performative vulnerability. But through honest conversations with people willing to examine the lies that shaped their lives — and the difficult work of replacing them with truth.
The transition we never notice
Our founder
Not an expert looking down from a mountaintop. He is the case study.
The founder of The Liar is someone whose life has been shaped by trauma, loss, foster care, addiction, grief, success, failure — and the lifelong practice of becoming more honest.
This isn't a podcast about having all the answers. It's a public commitment to asking better questions. The mission isn't perfection. The mission is truth — because truth is the only thing that has ever consistently moved people toward freedom.
Why we exist
Our mission
To expose the lies that keep people trapped — and create conversations that lead to honesty, healing, responsibility, and freedom.
Our vision
A world where radical honesty is more valued than perfection. Where people are no longer imprisoned by shame, trauma, addiction, fear, or the stories they've unknowingly accepted as truth. Where healing begins with a single act of courage: telling the truth.
